Dr Daniel Wong from CNA Paid a Visit to HPC

On November 29th, 2013, Dr Daniel Wong, the director of China Project, College of the North Atlantic (CNA) in Canada, came to HPC for a visit, and gave a lecture .

At 9 a.m., Dr Daniel Wong visited the training site of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with the company of Mr. Huang Ailiang, director of international exchange and cooperation and Mr.  Huang guoxiang, deputy dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. And he was very interested in the “8S” management mode, carried out in HPC. Dr Daniel Wong also visited our history museum.

At 10:20a.m., the discussion between Chinese-Canadian joint program was held in HPC conference room. Vice president Duan Yuansheng attended the meeting and discussed with Dr. Wong about starting a joint program in mechanical engineering.

At 14:00 p.m., Dr Wong gave a lecture about vocational education in the lecture hall. Doctor Daniel Wong mainly analyzed the educational differences between Canada and China from nine aspects.

College of the North Atlantic is located in LabradorNewfoundland , Canadawhich is a public college in Labrador consisting of 18 campuses of the whole province. It is also one of the biggest higher education and the vocational skill training centers. At present, the number of students registered in its China programs has exceeded 1000 each year.
